Xiomara Williams, Volleyball

Xiomara Williams becomes just the second volleyball player to reach the pinnacle of All-America status and the first since Emma Gray in 2018. Williams boasted an excellent sophomore campaign that saw the team break single season records for wins, wins at home and winning percentage on their way to a District Championship and National Tournament berth.

Nicholas Atkinson, Cross Country

Atkinson will be making his third appearance at the NJCAA Cross Country Nationals this year after finishing 5th at the Region 8 meet and earning All-State honors.

Kyja Williams, Cross Country

Williams earned All-State recognition at the Region 8 meet and punched her ticket to the National Championships for the second straight year.

Berquist has finished top six in his first two collegiate meets as a freshman and continues to improve heading into the Embry Riddle Invitational.

Chambliss was named Region 8 DII Setter of the Week in early September. The Sophomore has dished out 30+ assists in 3 out of 4 matches this season.

Brittany Shirley, Softball

Shirley started in all 32 games as a freshman in 2020 and hit over .300. She also earned NJCAA All-Academic Team accolades.

Aaron Perry, Baseball

Perry was recently named to the NJCAA Student-Athlete Council as the male representative from Region 8. In 2020, he earned NJCAA Third Team All-Academic honors.

Alexander Croy, Cross Country

Croy finished inside the top 15 at Nationals last month to earn an All-America selection. It was his second trip to the NJCAA National Championships in two years.

Naphis Llanos, Baseball

The freshman is hitting .373 on the year with a team leading 28 hits through the first 21 games.

Alyssa Woolums, Softball

Woolums started in 20 games in February and hit .500 w/ 26 hits, 17 runs, 10 RBIs, 3 doubles, 1 triple and 1 HR

Emily Kolwicz, Softball

Kolwicz got off to a fast start with five hits in two games. She ended the weekend hitting .583 with five RBI's and two stolen bases.

Chenar Brown, Baseball

Brown has opened the season on a complete tear hitting .560 while slugging .840 with a team leading 14 hits and eight RBI's. The first baseman has hit safely in each of his seven games started.

Angel Padilla, Baseball

Padilla is back for the rare third JUCO season after sustaining a season ending injury in 2019. As a Fr in 2018, he hit .294 with 16 RBIs in 43 games.

Hannah Yarbrough, Volleyball

Yarbrough has made an immediate impact as a freshman collecting 59 digs in her first four matches.

Brody Rubenstein, Baseball

Brody Rubenstein has really turned it on as of late hitting .315 with 28 hits, 15 RBI’s and a team leading 13 stolen bases. Not to mention great defense in the outfield.

Casey Allen, Softball

Casey Allen is putting together a stellar freshman season hitting .386 on the year with three home runs and nine doubles. She also leads the team with 32 hits, 24 runs scored and 19 RBI’s through the team’s first 32 games.

Mickey Skole, Baseball

Skole has started the 2019 season on fire hitting .421 with two extra base hits and five RBIs. He has also walked seven times and carries a .577 OBP.

Abbey Primavera, Softball

Primavera has posted excellent numbers to start the season including a 3-0 record with a 1.19 ERA in the circle

Robbie Scott, Baseball

As a freshman, Scott earned second team All-Conference accolades after leading Lake-Sumter in hitting with a .325 batting average and 17 stolen bases.

Taylor Dotson, Softball

Taylor Dotson enters her second season as the CF for the Lakehawks softball team and is coming off a year where she hit .308 with 38 RBIs.

Amanda Berecz, Volleyball

Amanda joined the 25 dig club in September with a 25 dig output against No. 18 St. John's River and was named Defensive Player of the Week for Region 8 Division II.

Gabriela Hernandez, Volleyball

Gabby has an had an excellent sophomore campaign so far. Her performance on the court earned her Setter of the Week honors for Region 8 Division II.
