The Lake-Sumter State College softball program offers different camps throughout the year. The one day hitting clinic, the two-day prospect camp and the Winter Evaluation Camp.

Current Camps Being Offered:

• Winter Evaluation Camp: January 3, 2026

The Lake-Sumter State College softball coaching staff will host a comprehensive evaluation camp on January 3 at the Leesburg Campus, designed for high school softball players interested in competing at the collegiate level. Participants will receive an individualized score sheet to help them assess their current standing as potential college recruits. The camp will also include an in-depth overview of the recruiting process for both athletes and families, along with a breakdown of how the evaluation is conducted. Spots are limited to 20 participants to ensure quality instruction and assessment.
