PREVIEW: No. 21 Lakehawk Softball vs. Pasco-Hernando

LEESBURG, Fla. (Softball) – Lake-Sumter State College (LSSC) softball continues Sun-Lakes Conference play this weekend with Pasco-Hernando State College (PHSC).

On Friday, the Lakehawks will travel to New Port Richey, Fla. to open the series with a single game on Friday at 3:00 p.m. On Saturday back at The Hawks Nest, the Lakehawks will host the Bobcats for a double header at 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m.

PHSC enters the series with an 18-15 overall record and a 4-5 record in conference play. The Bobcats come off a 3-0 weekend against State College of Florida, including a mercy rule shutout win in game one of the series.

In conference standing, Pasco-Hernando ranks third in conference standing while the Lakehawks maintain the second place spot with a 7-2 record.

All Sun-Lakes Conference home games will be streamed at Team 1 Sports: College. Live stream of away games will vary.
