PREVIEW: No. 21 Lakehawk Baseball vs No. 1 Pasco-Hernando

LEESBURG, Fla. (Baseball) – Lake-Sumter State College (LSSC) baseball prepares for this weekend's top-25 Sun-Lakes Conference matchup against No. 1 Pasco-Hernando State College.

In their first meeting, the Bobcats swept the Lakehawks. Since then, the Lake-Sumter has gone seven of the last 11 games in conference play including sweeping Florida State College at Jacksonville and Palm Beach State College.

This weekend, Lake-Sumter will host Pasco-Hernando on Friday afternoon for game one at 1:00 p.m. On Saturday, the teams will be in New Port Richey, Fla. for a double header at 1:00 and 4:00 p.m.

Pasco-Hernando enters the series with a 30-9 overall record and a 16-2 conference record, their only two losses coming from South Florida State and Palm Beach State.

The Lakehawks enter this weekend's series tied for second with South Florida State College. Lake-Sumter is at a 10-8 record against Sun-Lakes Conference opponents.
