PREVIEW: Lakehawk Baseball vs. No. 7 South Florida State College

LEESBURG, Fla. (Baseball) – Lake-Sumter State College (LSSC) baseball continues Sun-Lakes Conference play this weekend with a three-game series against South Florida State College (SFSC).

On Friday, the Lakehawks will open the series at home with a single game on Friday at 1:00 p.m. On Saturday, the Lakehawks will travel to Avon Park, Fla. for a double header at 12:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m.

SFSC enters this weekend's series with an overall record of 21-7 and a 7-2 record in conference play. Their only two conference losses at this time come from Pasco-Hernando.  

The Panthers are currently on a 6-game conference win streak with a pair of back-to-back weekend sweeps over Florida State College at Jacksonville and Palm Beach State College.

Ahead of the weekend, the Panthers currently sit first in conference standing while the Lakehawks are in fourth.

Friday's Sun-Lakes Conference matchup will be streamed at Team 1 Sports: College. Live stream at SFSC will be unavailable, but live stats can be accessed here.
