PREVIEW: Lakehawk Baseball vs No. 24 Pasco-Hernando

LEESBURG, Fla. (Baseball) – Lake-Sumter State College (LSSC) baseball continues Sun-Lakes Conference play this weekend with a three-game series against No. 24 Pasco-Hernando State College (PHSC).

The Lakehawks will travel to New Port Richey, Fla. on Friday for a single game at 6:00 p.m. On Saturday, the Lakehawks will be back at The Hawks Nest for a double header at 12:00 and 3:00 p.m.

PHSC finished the 2024 season with a 33-22 record and a 20-10 conference record. Last season, the Bobcats entered the Region 8 Championship as the No. 1 seed, but fell to South Florida State College in the second round of the tournament.

Pasco-Hernando enters the weekend with a current record of 13-6. The Bobcats opened conference play last weekend with South Florida State College where they took two from the Panthers for a 2-1 conference record so far this season.

All Sun-Lakes Conference home games will be streamed at Team 1 Sports: College. Live stream of away games will vary.
