Leesburg, Fla. -  After their second consecutive shortened season, the Lake-Sumter State College baseball team was able to get three players selected to Mid-Florida All-Conference Teams.

Ian Thornton – First Team, Infield

Thornton finished second on the team with a .339 average, collecting 41 hits in 33 games. The first baseman slugged .446 with 10 doubles, one home run and a team high 37 RBI's. Thornton posted 11 multi-hit games including a 4 for 6 performance against Inspiration Academy in which he drove in three RBI's and scored three times.

Alberson Mogollon – First Team, Designated Hitter

Mogollon finished the season fourth in the conference in slugging (.604) and sixth in batting average (.351). The power hitting DH led his team with five home runs on the year while driving in 36 RBI's. Hitting safely in 24 of 36 contests, Mogollon collected three three-hit games this season.

Seth Wysocki – Second Team, Pitcher

Wysocki ended the year with a 4-2 record in nine starts on the mound. The righty struck out 48 hitters over 51 innings pitched while carrying a 3.53 earned run average. His best outing came against Seminole State where he gave up two earned runs over seven innings of work while striking out seven on their way to a 7-6 victory.

Thornton and Mogollon will move on to the pool for All-Region, to be selected in May.
