HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (Beach Volleyball) – On Championship Saturday in Huntsville, Lakehawk Beach Volleyball took fourth place in the 2024 NJCAA Beach Volleyball National Championship.
The Lakehawks started the morning as the fifth seed after splitting their Challenge Bracket matches on Friday afternoon.
Lake-Sumter defeated Mesa Community College (MCC) 3-2 advancing to the semifinal match against Palm Beach State College (PBSC).
The Panthers defeated the Lakehawks 3-0, putting Lake-Sumter into the Third Place match against State College of Florida (SCF).
Down to their final point on the No. 1 and 2 pairs, the Manatees edged out a pair of dual wins to defeat the Lakehawks 3-2.

Lake-Sumter's loss to SCF secured a fourth-place finish for the team following 2023's third place finish in the national championship. The Manatees took third place.
The Lakehawks finished the 2024 season with a 13-17 overall record.
