Brady Perry

Brady Perry brings a wealth of experience and dedication to his role as Volunteer Coach for Track and Field and Cross Country at Lake Sumter State College. Brady attended Gallaudet University with a degree in Physical Education & Recreation, Brady excelled academically with a cumulative GPA of 3.81, earning recognition on the Dean’s List for three consecutive semesters.

In addition to his academic achievements, Brady has demonstrated exceptional leadership qualities and received numerous awards. He served as the Project Manager for Kappa Gamma Fraternity and represented the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee for Men’s Track & Field at Gallaudet University. Notably, Brady received the Gallaudet University Coaches’ Award for Men’s Track and Field in 2019.

Athletically, Brady's accomplishments are equally impressive. He represented the USA Deaf Track & Field Team at the 2023 Summer Deaf Games in Ufa, Russia, and participated in the 2019 World Deaf Indoor Athletics Championships in Tallinn, Estonia. He also competed in the 2017 Summer Deaflympics in Samsun, Turkey. As a student-athlete, Brady was an integral member of the Gallaudet University Men’s Cross Country and Men’s Track & Field teams from Fall 2018 to Spring 2020.

Brady's commitment to athletics extends beyond competition. He has served as an Instructional Assistant, Assistant Track & Field Coach, Head Basketball Coach, and Residential Instructor at the Florida School for the Deaf and Blind. Currently, Brady is training and preparing for the Deaflympics Tokyo 2025 while dedicating his expertise to coaching and mentoring athletes at Lake Sumter State College.

Brady's passion for athletics, leadership, and dedication to the deaf and hard of hearing community make him a valuable asset to the Lake Sumter State College track and cross country programs. His wealth of experience and unwavering commitment to excellence inspire athletes to reach their full potential both on and off the field.

Brady joined the Cross Country/Track & Field coaching staff in the fall of 2023.
