Wright opened the week with a 2-for-3 and 3-for-3 effort against Lincoln Land Community College. In game two of the double header, she scored three runs and recorded four RBIs.

In Sun-Lakes Conference play against Pasco-Hernando State College, Wright proved to be a problem at the plate for the Bobcats. For the series, she hit 6-for-7 with five runs scored and two RBIs.

In game one, she went 1-for-2 with two RBIs, two runs scored, and a walk. In game two, she went 3-for-3 with three runs scored.

In the series finale, Wright batted 3-for-4 with two RBIs and two runs scored.

Head Coach Jay Miller expressed his excitement for Wright's achievement, "This young lady is absolutely locked in and it did not happen by accident. It happened through hard work and dedication to he craft of hitting.

"Megan has come a long way since arriving at Lake-Sumter and this is a big exclamation mark on the work she has put in," said Coach Miller.

For the season, Wright is leading the team with a .474 batting average, .523 on-base percentage, and a .639 slugging percentage. In 97 at bats, she has 46 hits with 10 doubles and three triples, 26 runs scored, and 28 RBIs.
