Lakehawk Volleyball’s Hunter and Warner Named All-Sun-Lakes Conference
TALLAHASEE, Fla. (Volleyball) – The Florida College System Activities Association (FCSAA) announced the 2024 All-Sun-Lakes Conference Teams on Thursday evening. Sophomores Sydni Hunter and Emily Warner earn their first-career post-season accolade being named to the all-conference second team.
Sydni Hunter, MB/OPP
Hunter was named to the All-Sun-Lakes Conference Second Team. For the season, she recorded 132 kills at 2.03 kills per set and had 44 total blocks on the defensive end.
Hunter was a force at the net for the Lakehawks, registering 10 kills or more in five matches.
Head Coach Alisha Wintersdorf shared her thoughts on Hunter's achievement, "Sydni's performance this season has been nothing short of outstanding. Her aggressive play at the net and relentless drive makes her a force to be reckoned with, while her infectious energy set the tone for our team.
"She is the kind of player we all aspire to be – someone who brings intensity, passion, and a fierce competitive sprit every time she steps on the court," said Coach Wintersdorf.

Warner was named to the All-Sun-Lakes Conference Second Team.
As the Lakehawks' primary setter, Warner recorded 520 assists at 8.00 assists per set. Defensively, she added 148 digs (2.28 digs/set) and 10 total blocks.
"Emily's recognition is a testament to her hard work, leadership, and commitment to the team. She consistently leads by example, both on and off the court, and played a pivotal role on our team this year.
"She has an exceptional ability to read the game and make smart, device plays that elevate the entire team. Emily truly sets the standard for what it means to be a great player and teammate," said Coach Wintersdorf.
