Leesburg, Fla. – It's that time of year again! That amazing time when we release the Lake-Sumter State College softball schedule for 2022!
The Lakehawks are building off of a season where they went 32-18, finishing fourth in the Mid-Florida Conference. This season, LSSC will have 11 sophomores and 11 freshmen heading into the 2022 season.
Mark your calendars for Friday, January 28 for Opening Day against Georgia Highlands College. The double-header will begin at noon. The very next day, the Lakehawks will head to the JUCO Classic at Eddie C. Moore Softball Complex in Clearwater for a two-game set.
Mid-Florida Conference games will get started Thursday, March 17 when LSSC hosts St. John's River State College for a double-header with games at 2 and 4. Conference play will continue through March and into April with the final contest happening on Thursday, April 14. Lake-Sumter will host Daytona State for Sophomore Day to close out the regular season schedule.
