Lakehawk Golf Wraps Up Brad Rose Collegiate Invitational
KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (Men's Golf) – The Lake-Sumter State College (LSSC) men's golf team capped off the Brad Rose Collegiate Invitational with a 10th place finish, slipping three spots on the final day.
Kasen Schlichemaier led the team with a strong performance, securing 10th place in the individual standings, while Tripp Watkins continued his steady play, earning his second consecutive top-13 tournament finish.
Despite the late drop in position, the Lakehawks' effort helped boost the team's national ranking to 39th overall and fourth within the Southeast District.
Looking ahead, the team will build on the experience in preparation for the 2025 NJCAA Division II Southeast District Tournament in Bristol, Tenn. in April.
