HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (Beach Volleyball) – After day two of the 2024 NJCAA Beach Volleyball Championship, Lakehawk beach volleyball split their matches with Gaston College and Richard Bland College.

With the loss to Richard Bland, the Lakehawks moved from the second seed to the fifth seed in Saturday's Championship Bracket.

The Lakehawks will play the fourth seeded Mesa Community College (MCC) at 9:00 a.m. EST.

On day two, MCC played in Pool C with State College of Florida and Trinidad State College. The Thunderbirds defeated Trinidad State 5-0 and lost a close match to State College of Florida 3-2.

The winner between Mesa and Lake-Sumter will advance to the semifinal match against Palm Beach State College at 11:30 a.m. EST.
