Leesburg, Fla. – The vans are loaded; the bracket is set and it is time for postseason play with the Lake-Sumter State College volleyball team entering the District/Regional Tournament as the No. 2 seed.

It's been an amazing regular season with the team hitting the 20-win mark and finishing second in the Sun-Lakes Conference standings. LSSC's 15-3 conference record nets them the second seed in the tournament and a first-round matchup with the No. 7 seed, Gulf Coast State College (12-11, 9-10).

Lake-Sumter won the two previous matchups during the regular season with GCSC. In their first meeting, the Lakehawks defeated the Commodores 3-1 and then 3-0 in the second match. This will be the third contest of the tournament and will take place Thursday at 4 pm. The winner of this matchup will take on either No. 6 Itawamba CC or No. 3 Pensacola State College, who play the match before.
