Leesburg, Fla. – The Lake-Sumter State College softball is set to get started Friday with their 2020 schedule.
LSSC will open against GA Highlands at 2 pm with the second game set to follow. Both teams have met on opening day for the past two season. The Lakehawks will be back in action Saturday at the JUCO Kickoff in Clearwater, FL. Game one will be against No. 2 Florida Southwestern at 3:20. The night game will begin at 7:40 against South Florida State.
Three players will join Head Coach Jay Miller in the all-star game that will be played at 8:30 Saturday morning. Brandi Davis, Jennifer Bryant and Nicole Smith were all selected to represent Lake-Sumter in the contest.
