Tallahassee Fla. - Voters selected Lake-Sumter State College pitcher, Jasmine McQuaig as the NJCAA Region 8 Pitcher of the week.
McQuaig boasted extraordinary numbers during the voting period last week. The Sophomore had a flawless start against Broward College Friday allowing one base runner in a complete game shutout.
Working in relief, the North Marion native tallied one win and one save.
On the week, McQuaig tossed 11 total innings, allowing only three hits, no runs and one walk, while striking out 10. She ended the week with opponents hitting just .089 off of her in the circle.
