GAINESVILLE, Fla. (Track & Field) – The Lake-Sumter State College (LSSC) men's and women's track & field teams competed in their final regular season meet of 2024 at the Florida University Last Chance Meet.
The Lakehawks exhibited exceptional skill and determination, continuing to deliver impressive performances across various events. Seven Lakehawks competed in Friday's meet:
60-Meter

Head Coach Cristy Snellgroves shared her thoughts about the indoor track & field regular season coming to a conclusion, "As LSSC T wraps up its inaugural indoor season, the atmosphere is charged with excitement and anticipation for what lies ahead in the outdoor season.
"The journey through the indoor meets has been nothing short of exhilarating, marked by standout performances, incredible displays of resilience, and the forging of camaraderie among teammates. I am immensely proud to lead such a dedicated and passionate group of athletes, and I look forward to seeing them continue to grow and thrive as we embark on this new chapter together in the outdoor track season," said Coach Snellgroves.
