Leesburg, Fla. – While you celebrate the holidays with friends and family, mark your calendars for the Lake-Sumter State College 2022 spring baseball season!
The Lakehawks are coming off of a season where they went 18-20 and had their season cut short for the second year in a row.
Saturday, January 29, the Lakehawks will open their season on the road in Auburndale for a double-header. Game one will pit LSSC against South Florida State College at 10 am, before taking on Palm Beach State College at 1 pm. February 4 will mark the team's home opener as they host TNXL Academy at 1 pm.
Mid-Florida Conference games will get started Monday, March 5 when LSSC hosts Daytona State College for a single nine inning contest. Conference play will continue through March and into April with the final contest happening on Wednesday, April 27 at Santa Fe College.
