Athletic Sponsorship Opportunities

The Lake-Sumter State College Foundation, Inc. is the fund raising element for the Lake-Sumter Athletic Programs. The Lake-Sumter Foundation is responsible for raising restricted and unrestricted funds, primarily for athletic scholarships for those student-athletes who meet requirements to attend LSCC and participate in intercollegiate athletics.

The Lake-Sumter State College Foundation, Inc. also will be responsible for assisting in fund raising events to assist the athletic program in its daily operations. These funds will be unrestricted and be used for any athletic expenditure.

There are a number of ways in which you can become a sponsor/donor of Lake-Sumter Athletics:

  • By making tax deductible donations.

  • By becoming a sponsor or scholarship donor in one of the four levels of Athletic Sponsorships

  • By donating in-kind gifts

  • By establishing trust funds or endowments for LSSC student-athletes

 

Sponsorship and Donor Opportunities

  1. All-American Donor is a family oriented, entry level opportunity. Priced at $100.00, this level provides the donor with a family-of-four season pass and a monthly athletic newsletter.
  2. Grand Slam Club Sponsor/Donor are for those looking for more ownership into the program. Priced at $250.00, this level provides the season ticket package, the newsletter, an LSSC Athletic license plate, and an LSSC custom golf shirt.
  3. The MVP Club provides Sponsor/Donor with a unique opportunity to be recognized in the Convocation Center and Athletic Complex. MVP sponsor/donor receive the same benefits as the All-American and Grand Slam sponsor/donor as well as having their names appear on a wall plaque at a site at the athletic facilities. 
  4. The Hall Of Fame Sponsor/Donor. This is a corporate level of sponsorship designed to have your company recognized at our Athletic Complex or in the Press Guide. The Hall Of Fame members receive all the incentives received at the other (3) levels of sponsorship and have their company ad appear on the outfield fence of the baseball or softball field or in the athletic media guide.
  5. Athletic Scholarship. A scholarship will be given to one or more student-athletes in your name or in the name of a family member. Your gift will be matched by the state and used for additional scholarships.
