NJCAA Announces 2023-24 All-Academic Awards

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) has announced the 2023-24 academic student-athlete and team awards. Each year, the NJCAA recognizes student-athletes for their dedication in the classroom on the NJCAA All-Academic Teams.

Student-athletes are honored by their grade point average (GPA) for the 2023-24 academic year. They are distributed into three teams: NJCAA All-Academic First Team (4.00 GPA), NJCAA All-Academic Second Team (3.80-3.99 GPA), and NJCAA All-Academic Third Team (3.60-3.79 GPA).

Lakehawk Athletics placed 33 student-athletes on the NJCAA All-Academic teams, with six sophomores earning the award for the second time.

In addition to individual awards, the NJCAA recognizes teams who obtain a cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher. Six Lakehawk teams received the team award.

Baseball – 3.03 GPA

Beach Volleyball – 3.46 GPA

Men's Cross County – 3.22 GPA

Women's Cross Country – 3.04 GPA

Softball – 3.21 GPA

Men's Track & Field – 3.14 GPA
