Lakehawk Class of 2023 Moving On

LEESBURG, Fla. – The Lake-Sumter State College (LSSC) athletics class of 2023 has a total of 16 student-athletes from all six sports transferring to four-year institutions to continue their collegiate careers.

Of the 16, there are 11 that will transfer to National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) institutions, four to the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA), and one to the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA).

Ryan Monaghan – Rollins College, NCAA DII

Sebastian Miller – Valdosta State University, NCAA DII

Beach Volleyball

Kaylin McCann – Truett McConnell College, NAIA

Maddie Perez – Truett McConnell College, NAIA

Cross Country

Colton Berquist – University of Tulsa, NCAA DI

Julio Rojas – University of South Carolina Aiken, NCAA DII

Softball

Darian Pippin – Keiser University, NAIA

Makenzi Heaton – University of Fort Lauderdale, NCCAA

Reese Snipes – Flagler University, NCAA DII

Rocky Camuglia – Lander University, NCAA DII
