LEESBURG, Fla. (Athletics) – Lake-Sumter State College (LSSC) continues to monitor Hurricane Ian as it is forecasted to hit the area in the upcoming week. LSSC will be open Monday, Sept. 26 and Tuesday, Sept. 27.
The college will revisit the current situation by Tuesday, Sept. 27 by 12 p.m. Announcements regarding the college can be accessed here or on the LSSC Safe App.
See below for adjustments to the athletics competition schedule:
- Volleyball vs. Santa Fe originally scheduled for Tuesday, Sept. 27 has been rescheduled to Tuesday, Oct. 25 at 6 p.m.
- Softball Exhibition Game vs. Daytona State for Thursday, Sept. 29 has been postponed to a later date.
- Volleyball vs. SJRSC originally scheduled for Friday, Sept. 30 has been postponed to a later date.
UPDATE AS OF 7 PM SEPT 26: Campus will be closed Tuesday, Sept 27 beginning at 4:30 p.m. to Friday Sept. 30.
