Freshman Lily Novac improved her personal best time three weekends in a row, from 23:21.0 to 22:52.6.

Freshman Lily Novac was a great leader for the Lakehawks at their three races in September improving her career best time each weekend.

Kicking off the seaosn at the Eastern Florida State Fall State Classic, Novac finsihed second on the team with a 5,000-Meter time of 23:11.0. She came in the 11st spot among NJCAA runners. 

The following week at the Embry-Riddle Cross Country Classic, Novac improved her career best 5K time to 23:04.6. She was the top finisher for the Lakehawks and placed 11th among NJCAA runners. 

Novac improved her career best time for the third weekend in a row at the Saint Leo Abbey Invitational, once again the top finsher for the Lakehawks, posting 5K time of 22:52.6.
